Ieri sera ho scoperto questa mod per Age of Empires III e ho deciso di segnalarvela, per quello che l'ho provata sembra molto interessante e mi sembra molto interessante, perciò se avete il gioco provatela e se non ce l'avete procuratevelo!

War of The Triple Alliance is a non-commercial and fan-based modification for Ensemble Studios' last RTS game before its demise, Age of Empires III. This mod features a great deal of new gameplay elements and currently includes five completely new civilizations: Argentinians, Brazilians, Colombians, Paraguayans and Tupi. The game is focused on the events revolving around the War of the Triple Alliance in South America, and how different South American civilizations reacted to this new challenge. The game will also include other prominent civilizations of this particular time-frame, which will be added in later versions, such as Africans (Egyptians, Ethiopians and Zulu), South American natives (Mapuche and Inca), the Koreans and Mexicans, and finally the North Americans, Canada and the US, making the total number of civilizations of the mod up to fourteen. Balkans (Romanians, Serbs, and Bulgarians) and new Europeans (Greeks, Danish, Habsburgs, and "The Secret Civ" (wich was revealed to be belgium) will also be added in the Delta version release, in addition to Chile and in addition to Australia as the third North American civilization, making the total number of civs in the mod up to 24. The three Balkan civs added into the Delta version are the remanents of the The Fight of Nations mod .

These civilizations are very different from each other, most receive a new AI personality, new technologies, new cards, and the new ones receive their own Home City . All of the new civilizations and most of the existing ones have many new unique units, in addition to several new standard units. All these new units have had care put into them to make them as distinctive, realistic and interesting as possible. A new feature, called Immigrants is available for the South American Countries instead of mercenaries, where the player can essentially play as those Immigrants.

Nine new civilizations have been added: Brazilians, Paraguayans, Colombians, Argentines, Mexicans, Americans, Canadians, Tupi and Koreans.
Forty new random maps have been included. The WotTA-only ones can be found in the main list; the others, by clicking on "Custom Maps" at the skirmish screen.
Nine new Native Settlements can appear on the new maps: Bandeirante, Republiqueta, Quilombola, Guarani, Guaicuru, Aymara, Pirate, Order of Christ and Sertanejo.
Age up to a new age: The Great War age. This will enable World War I-themed units such as zeppelins, airplanes, dreadnoughts, tanks, and several new techs.
Two brand new cultures: Latin Americans and North Americans.
Church completely redesigned. When playing as Europeans, Latin Americans or North Americans, a religion can be adopted, enabling the redesigned priest and multiple religion-specific techs. There are ten different religions to choose.
Revolutionaries redesigned with new bonuses, new politicians, new units.
Spies completely redesigned. Now available to all civilizations but Latin Americans.
